Hi everyone,
My mom was supposed to start the Sutent medication yesterday however she did not receive the pills yet, thus she hasn't been able to start yet. She and Sally will obviously be gone all day tomorrow due to the liver biopsy, so hopefully the package will not be left at their house especially since the weather isn't supposed to be the greatest. So hopefully she'll get it Tuesday and be able to start the first cycle.
I also wanted to encourage everyone reading the blog to feel free to post your comments/thoughts/questions on the blog. I definitely want to give information here, but I'd also love it if others add things as well.
I think that's it for today - as usual, if I remember something later I will add it.
Abby

OK,
ReplyDeleteI'm always one to put my foot in my mouth, so here's my thoughts....
CANCER SUCKS what it has done and is doing to our family really PISSES ME OFF!!!!
Abby thank you so much for this blog I can't express enough what it means to me and others.
Pat, Sally, Chad, Abby and families I LOVE YOU, my thoughts and prayers are there for you every second of every day.
Pat, when you wrap your self in the quilt that I made for you feel my arms around you and all my love
Love you all
Norma
Hey Family, Just wanted to let ya all know I'm here if anyone needs me for anything... I can cook if you like everything doused in garlic & burnt, I give great hugs & clean other peoples houses way better than my own...depending upon how much money you give me. >grin< It is unfortunate that I've given up mowing lawns for the family, my mom will have to fill you in as to why...
ReplyDeleteOk enough avoiding...I think I speak for a few of us when I say that we're in denial of what is happening & I guess what I'm tryin' to say is I don't know what to say. I just want you to know that I'm here.
Abby, you, your brother, your momma & Sally have definitely been on our minds. I have a lot of things in common with everyone I've spoken to about what's going on. Right now we're all feeling a little helpless. We all want to do something to help so please take advantage of us! We are appreciative of your bloggings so Thank You! They help keep us informed & we're grateful.
On a lighter note...If my Mom & Aunt Peggy don't get to see Pat soon don't be surprised if they drop out of a helicopter onto her roof & sneak in through the upstairs window just to get a hug in before the police haul them away lol Imaginative? Perhaps. What can I say...never underestimate a Poborsky woman that loves her Teeter Family ...especially when they love them as much as they love All of You.
Sending love, positive energy & smiles across the miles - Gina
